San Francisco, California, April 23rd, 2014 – AfterCollege announced that it has now awarded $1 million for scholarships and student activities to college students in a number of disciplines through its ongoing scholarship program, furthering its commitment to supporting students during college and as they transition into the workforce.
“The work being done by organizations like AfterCollege in promoting and supporting education through and beyond school is crucial for the success of many students, and I am very grateful to them,” says Reed Halberg, a recent recipient of the Engineering Student Scholarship. Raymond Degan, recipient of the Ensign Physical Therapy Scholarship added, “Receiving this scholarship helps me take care of some financial stress, which allows me to focus even harder on becoming the best physical therapist I can be.”
